Travelling by bicycle

2005: Bangkok - Nongkai
My goal this year was cycling from Bangkok to the south, but in Paris they decided something else. I flew with Thai airways from Brussels to Paris, and from Paris to Bangkok. Unfortunately my bicycle arrived 10 days later in Bangkok because of some problems in Paris. So I had to change my plan because I didn't have enough time anymore. I decided to cycle to the north, throughout Isan to Vientiane, the capital of Laos. It was not my best journey. It was extremely hot and not much to enjoy along the road. Moreover, at the Thai-Lao border in Nongkai, I couldn't continue since the border was closed because of some meeting in Vientiane. Yeah, not my best travel!
