1997: Belgium – Malaga

From Ghent, the birthplace of Charles V (1500), crossing France and the Pyrenees, to the heart of Spain with it's historical towns as Segovia and Toledo. A detour brings me to San Yuste where Charles V passed away (1558). Further south I cycle throughout the Extremadura to Cordoba and the Alhambra in Granada. After more than 2000 km I finish my journey at the other side of the Sierra Nevada in Malaga.
