1988: Belgium – Istanbul

A journey from Lanaken, my home town in Belgium to Istanbul. I pass through the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Kosovo. Macedonia and Greece to Istanbul, Turkey. From Istanbul I cycle to Izmir where I take a ferry to Venice. From Venice I cycle over the Alps to Switserland and continue through France and Luxembourg back to Belgium. Nearly 4600 km in 33 cycling days.
